For months, I cleaned my white macbook with a hand cleaner / hand sanitizer, and it works. give a single drop of hand sanitizer to a dry cloth or a tissue paper then scrub gently on any surface including macbook keyboard. Repat as necessary to move all the dirt from your keyboard.
My white macbook now always looks shine. You can use it regularly, once a week, whenever you need.
